With over 25 years of vast pedagogical experience, BONNIE BROWN attracts students internationally for instruction in piano, music theory, solfège and as a teacher trainer. She began as a specialist in the musical tuition of small children and young adults, but today she works with students from 4 to 75 years old with an increasing number of adult students. She has has taught hundreds of students from over 30 different nationalities, and works with beginners through to semi-professionals preparing for high-level auditions and examinations.

 

In 2017 and 2018 consecutively she was honoured with the title of Best Music Teacher in Paris by the expatriate community in France.

Bonnie Brown has built a reputation based on her passion, professionalism and capacity to clearly communicate the joys of music to young people at their most crucial stage of musical and intellectual development. Because of her on virtuoso technique and performing career, she offers a unique level of tuition and instruction that distinguishes her from the majority of music teachers for beginner pupils.

As testimony to her exceptional teaching methods her former pupils have achieved countless accolades, ranging from outstanding musical examination results, to full music scholarships to support their schooling, to admission into the world's most prestigious universities.

 

From 2009 to 2012 she held the position of director of the Music and the Brain programme at the Bilingual Montessori School of Paris. She has held teaching positions at Parkville Music School and Christchurch Grammar School in Melbourne, Australia and regularly is invited to guest teach and speak at schools and universities all over the world.
