  • Music Enrichment Workshops in April 2025, a week of joy and discovery!

A beautiful week of music, joy, and discovery! I had the pleasure of spending a magical week with eight bright and curious 3- and 4-year-olds, diving into the world of music through play, creativity, and exploration. Watching their progress each day is always so inspiring, exciting and deeply motivating. Every time I run these workshops, I’m amazed by how much young children can absorb and retain when given the right environment. Each day focused on a new great composer and a different family of musical instruments. We also enjoyed group music-making, movement games, art inspired by musical masterpieces, and so much more. I’m already looking forward to doing it all again in  Jul y (with some returning students, too!) P.S. You can read some of the April participant's testimonials here .

  • Annual Class Concert 2024-2025 - a stunning celebration of music and progress

What a thrill it was to hear all of my students perform live at our Annual Class Concert on March 29, held at the Scots Kirk Church in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. This is the biggest concert of our school year, and it was truly a celebration of music and progress. Alongside beautiful solo performances from every single student, we also enjoyed duets, concertos, and wrapped up the event with a joyful party after the music. For several of my students, it was their very first time performing in front of an audience — and what an audience it was! Over 100 people attended, including international friends and family who traveled to Paris especially for the occasion. A HUGE bravo to everyone who participated — I’m so proud of everyone who performed 🎶

  • 2025 Edition - Music Education Concerts for the children of Paris Centre

I was thrilled when my my interactive Music Education Concerts were renewed for another year by the Mairie de Paris ! Once again, nursery schools from the 1st to 4th arrondissements of Paris signed up to visit the Mairie of Paris Centre in the 3rd for a one-hour interactive performance exploring the history of music through the piano — from Bach to Gershwin. The children, all between the ages of 4 and 6, were absolutely delightful: curious, energetic, and completely engaged. Their excitement was contagious! This years performances took place in March and April. This year, I noticed a clear improvement in their focus and participation. I had created a special preparation guide for the teachers to help introduce the concert in advance, and it really made a difference. When children know what to expect — how to behave, how to respond — they get so much more out of the experience. Below is a short video of one of our new interactive movement activities: listening carefully to the dynamics in Mozart and responding with movement — jumping up for loud passages and sitting for soft ones. Yes, I know this isn’t quite how Mozart imagined his famous  Turkish March , but given his legendary sense of humor and love of fun, I like to think he would have approved of the laughter and joy our little game inspired. Don’t you?

  • Awarded the Victor Hugo Medal from Paris Centre - an unexpected honour!

I was deeply honoured and proud to receive the Victor Hugo Medal from the Mairie de Paris Centre in December of 2024. I also had the pleasure of a private audience with the Mayor of Paris Centre, M. Ariel Weil, to celebrate the occasion. This type of recognition is both humbling and also deeply motivating - I am more determined than ever to keep sharing my love of the piano and it's incredible music with the widest audience possible. • July 2024 Music Enrichment Workshops: Two Incredible Weeks of Learning, Creativity, and Joy!

Two intense weeks and four incredible groups of children later, the Summer 2024 Music Enrichment Workshops have come to a close! What an unforgettable experience – each day filled with discovering a new composer, exploring different instrument families, learning to read our first notes and symbols, making music together, and, most importantly, developing the art of listening, communicating through music, and collaborating with one another. From daily workbooks to creative activities inspired by music, and a special end-of-week performance for friends and family, every moment was filled with joy and discovery.
